During our short break we also visit Bowood House a beautiful Georgian house. So, with more gardener’s know-how than you can shake a stick at, why not join us on this brilliant greenfingered tour?

Staying at the Blunsdon House Hotel, there are 30 acres of beautiful Wiltshire countryside for you to enjoy. Boasting two restaurants, three bars and leisure facilities that include an indoor pool, Blunsdon is the perfect place to rejuvenate. All bedrooms include an en-suite bathroom, TV, refreshment making facilities and WiFi. The hotel also has a lift.

FRIDAY

We depart Macclesfield in the morning calling for coffee en-route to Bowood House and Gardens. The Georgian house has a rich history set within 100 acres of beautifully landscaped Capability Brown parkland. You will have time to meander at your leisure, exploring the history of the Lansdowne family, and the gardens are a must see with the Italian inspired terrace and herbaceous borders. The Treehouse Café and the Stables serve a selection of freshly made meals and delicious homemade cakes, so you will be spoilt for choice for dining options. Late afternoon we head for our hotel.

SATURDAY

After breakfast we depart for Badminton House where we spend the full day at the Flower Show. There are plenty of dining options from the inviting cafes offering lunches, snacks and delicious cakes. Late afternoon we head for home making a comfort stop en-route. We aim to arrive in Macclesfield late evening.
