Dagfields & Bridgemere Garden World

We begin the day with a visit to Dagfields Craft and Antique Centre for a spot of shopping and a morning coffee. Then we take the short journey to Bridgemere Garden World, arriving in time for lunch. This fabulous garden centre has lots of great gift ideas, a super clothes range, a large gardening section, and a choice of cafés. Enjoy a leisurely pace and plenty of time to browse.

Lytham & The Fylde Ice Festival

Fancy something a little different? We begin with a visit to Huntley’s Farm Shop and Café. After morning coffee, we continue to Lytham for the Fylde Ice Festival. Be dazzled by the glacial ice sculptors as they take you through a trail of their art, see live carving and even have a go carving yourself! And if all this sounds a bit chilly? Choose to spend the afternoon browsing the stylish independent shops of Lytham. The choice is yours!

Trentham & Snowdrops at Rode Hall

We spend the morning at Trentham with its fabulous garden centre and shops. After time for lunch, we then take the short journey to Rode Hall to admire the snowdrops; with over 70 different varieties of snowdrops to be seen, this is the perfect afternoon stroll out in the fresh air for nature lovers of all ages. The swathes of cascading white flowers at Rode are a sight to behold. You will have time for tea before heading home. (Inc. ent.)

Liverpool or Walker Art Gallery & Lady Lever Art Gallery

Jump aboard for a full day in the incredible city of Liverpool, with history, culture and shopping galore! If a little more structure is what you’re after, join us for a morning at the Walker Art Gallery and the afternoon at The Lady Lever Art Gallery in Port Sunlight; both are free and have cafés for you to enjoy.

Harrogate or RHS Harlow Carr

Making a quick comfort stop en-route we aim to arrive in lovely Harrogate before lunch. You have the option to spend the day in Harrogate or take the short journey to RHS Harlow Carr Gardens. Harrogate is known for its purple and white crocuses on the Stray, there are plenty of famous landmarks and why not stop off for afternoon tea at one of the independent tearooms? Those heading to Harlow Carr will have the opportunity to visit the amazing 58 acre garden and wander around the Queen Mother’s Lake, the historic Bath House and the Alpine House, home to more than 2000 plants.
