Staying at the 4* Bull Hotel
2 DAYS | 7th July 2022
Experience the world’s largest annual flower show in the setting of an historic palace; this year’s RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival transforms 25 acres of parkland into a blaze of colour. Garden lovers can marvel at the beautiful flowers and the innovative conceptual gardens showcasing the next big names. Watch demonstrations by celebrity gardeners, pick up new ideas and learn how to implement them via a variety of talks and demos. During the weekend we also visit Waterperry Gardens; made famous by Beatrix Havergal who established her School of Horticulture for Ladies here from 1932 to 1971, it is now home to eight acres of beautifully landscaped ornamental gardens.
The base for our tour is the 4* Bull Hotel situated in the charming town of Gerrards Cross. The hotel offers a modern bar, pleasant lounge area and restaurant. All bedrooms have TV and courtesy tea tray. The hotel has a lift.
We depart in the morning making a quick coffee and lunch stop en-route to Waterperry Gardens. Aiming to arrive early afternoon you will have free time to wander the gardens and perhaps visit the quality plant centre and garden shop, gallery and gift shop, as well as the museum and tea shop. Late afternoon we head for our hotel for dinner and an evening for you to spend at leisure.
After breakfast we depart for Hampton Court Palace where we spend the full day at the Flower Show. If you would prefer to visit the Palace instead, we are happy to deduct the cost of the Flower Show allowing you to pay directly at the Palace. We head for home late afternoon making a comfort stop en-route. We aim to arrive in Macclesfield late evening.
