Join us as we escape to Bournemouth and England’s beautiful south coast. Nestled atop spectacular chalk cliffs and overlooking miles of golden sand, the town boasts many outstanding attractions including wide boulevards, promenades, beautiful autumnal parks and gardens, museums, an art gallery, two piers and an excellent shopping centre.

The Cumberland Hotel is located on the seafront on Eastcliff, overlooking Bournemouth Bay. This iconic 4* Art Deco style hotel boasts a stylish lounge bar and brasserie. All bedrooms have a TV, courtesy tea trays and WiFi. The hotel also has a lift.

SUNDAY
We depart Macclesfield calling for coffee and lunch en-route to Bournemouth.

MONDAY
This morning we take the short journey to Christchurch with ample time to visit the local market. Alternatively, why not visit Christchurch Priory or perhaps take a stroll around Christchurch Quay? We return to the hotel around lunch time for an afternoon at leisure.

TUESDAY
Today we venture firstly to Wareham for a stroll along the historic quayside and to enjoy a morning coffee. We then continue on to Norden where we board the Swanage Railway for a train ride through the delightful Purbeck countryside passing by Corfe Castle and onto the pretty town of Swanage. After time for a relaxing lunch why not meander around this quintessential Victorian seaside town with its blue flag beach, UNESCO World Heritage Site Jurassic Coast and delightful promenade. Mid-afternoon we board the coach and take the scenic run back to our hotel.

WEDNESDAY
A day at leisure.

THURSDAY
This morning we visit Poole with time to browse the famous pottery and grab a morning coffee before boarding a boat for a cruise around the harbour. Take in fantastic views from the open deck as you pass picturesque Brownsea Island, Sandbanks Peninsula, Studland Bay and more. With live commentary from the captain you’re guaranteed to not miss a thing. After the cruise you will have time for lunch in Poole before returning to the hotel.

FRIDAY
We say a sad farewell to Bournemouth and head for home calling for coffee and lunch enroute. We aim to arrive in Macclesfield early evening.

Tour includes: Luxury coach travel throughout, 5 nights dinner bed and breakfast, train ride on Swanage Railway, Cruise around Poole harbour.
