Miles of stunning coastline, the Elizabethans, the Dambusters, wholesome market towns, stunning countryside, and a world-famous cathedral? It must be Lincolnshire! Join us as we head to this wonderful corner of England. The village of Woodhall Spa is situated in the middle of rural Lincolnshire and is the ideal location from which to explore this beautiful area. The village itself boasts a delightful centre with individual shops, a little museum, the Jubilee park with outdoor swimming pool and a Dambusters memorial in the Royal Square.

The Petwood Hotel is situated just a short walk from the Woodhall Spa village centre. Enjoying a timelessly elegant setting and unique heritage it was once home to the Dambusters and is today surrounded by 30 acres of lovely gardens. This former country house offers a restaurant, terrace bar and the Squadron Bar with lots of memorabilia from 617 Squadron. All bedrooms are en-suite with TV and courtesy tray.

We depart Macclesfield calling for coffee enroute to the fabulous city of Lincoln. With free time for you to explore; why not head to the Cathedral, the Norman Castle or one of the many other historic attractions? Maybe bring a picnic or instead have a relaxing lunch.
