Staying at The Tynedale Hotel, Llandudno
5 DAYS | 10th August 2020
Come with us to recharge your batteries, take in the sea air and blow away the cobwebs on the stunning Welsh Coast. Things maybe slightly different in our ‘new normal’ but there is still lots to enjoy out there, so why not join us for a relaxing break at the seaside in a super hotel.
The rugged mountains of Snowdonia form a spectacular backdrop to Llandudno the largest resort in Wales, beautifully situated on a magnificent crescent-shaped sandy bay and sheltered by the headlands of the Great and Little Ormes. The resort of Llandudno offers holidaymakers up to date resort facilities whilst still retaining its English Edwardian appeal. You can take a stroll along the flower lined promenade or visit the Victorian Pier, take a walk around the shops or just sit on the promenade and watch the world go by.
The Tynedale Hotel enjoys a prominent position opposite the bandstand on the sweeping flat promenade and with no steps to the front of the hotel, its central position ensures easy access to all local amenities. The hotel offers a superb lounge and a dining room with a bistro-style menu. All bedrooms are en suite with TV and tea/coffee tray. The hotel does have a lift. Proprietors Tracey and Nathan Midgley, together with their superb team of hospitality staff, will make sure you have a safe and enjoyable stay.
We depart Macclesfield in the morning calling for coffee at Grosvenor Garden Centre. We then take the scenic route across country calling at Betws-y-coed for lunch. Mid afternoon we continue our journey to Llandudno and the Tynedale Hotel.
A day at leisure in Llandudno.
Today our excursion takes us across the water to the Island of Angelsey, calling at Pringles Woollen Mill for coffee and then taking in the scenery across country to Beaumaris where we have time for a stroll along the sea front and lunch before returning to Llandudno.
Our morning trip takes us to the historic walled market town of Conwy for a time to browse the shops, wander along the Water front and have a coffee before we return to Llandudno for the remainder of the day.
After a leisurely breakfast we say a sad farewell to Llandudno. We take the coastal route and call at St Asaph Tweedmill where you will have time to shop and have lunch before we head for home. We aim to arrive in the Macclesfield area late afternoon.
