So, to help celebrate the longest river in England, we visit several of the attractions on its banks including the Thames Barrier, Henley on Thames and the River and Rowing Museum. We will also take a boat trip to Hampton Court Palace, Henry VIII’s magnificent riverside Palace. On our return journey we visit the historic market town of Abingdon-on-Thames set in in rural Oxfordshire.
