Why not join us for a free and easy break in London, staying at a hotel in the heart of Theatreland – Who can resist the Nation’s Capital? There is so much to see and do, the Royal Palaces and Parks, Westminster Abbey and St. Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge and Trafalgar Square, the famous museums and art galleries, endless shops and theatres, the London Eye, the choice is entirely yours.

Our base for the short break is the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury, situated less than five minutes tube journey or twenty minute walk from the vibrant Covent Garden and the West End. This modern hotel offers bright and airy bedrooms with WiFi access. Rooms also feature air conditioning, a TV and tea and coffee facilities, and each has a private bathroom. The Junction Restaurant serves an international menu in contemporary surroundings and the Junction Bar serves light meals and snacks. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast in the morning.

FRIDAY
We depart Macclesfield early in the morning calling for coffee en route to London. We arrive in London, deposit your luggage with the Concierge. Rooms at the hotel are usually available from 15:00 onwards. Afternoon and evening at leisure.

SATURDAY
A free day to do as you please. Perhaps partake in a little shopping at Harrods, a trip on the Emirates Airline cable car, London Eye or a visit to one of the many museums, the choice is yours. Why not take advantage of the hotel’s location in the heart of theatre district and spend the evening at a show, or alternatively take a dinner cruise on the Thames.

SUNDAY
Free time until 15:00 when we board the coach once again and head for home making a comfort stop en-route to arrive in Macclesfield late evening.
