Harrogate Festive Market & Harewood House Dressed for Christmas

Staying at The Crown Hotel

2 DAYS | 24th November 2019

Join us for a festive short break to Yorkshire and the delightful town of Harrogate. A wonderful English spa town that exudes a genteel calm and elegance, there is also a fantastic Christmas Market with around 200 stalls selling everything from Yorkshire cheese and chutneys to handmade gifts and decorations, not forgetting Santa’s Grotto and Reindeer. We will also visit the historic Harewood House where we enter a Christmas dreamscape that extends from the House into the surrounding grounds, with events, demonstrations and festive themed music.

Our base for the short break is The Crown Hotel, ideally situated in the heart of beautiful Harrogate and just a short walk from the world famous Betty’s Tea Rooms. The hotel boasts the Churchill Suite dining room, the Place Bar and Henry’s Bar and Lounge. The stylish bedrooms feature tea and coffee facilities, a TV and all rooms have a private bathroom.

We depart calling for a quick coffee en-route to Harrogate. We aim to arrive late morning giving you the remainder of the day to explore the Christmas Market, shops and perhaps partake of afternoon tea at the famous Betty’s Tea Rooms. Dinner and evening at leisure.

After a relaxing breakfast, we head to Harewood House where we spend the morning. There will be free time for coffee and to visit the house and grounds. We depart just after lunch and board the coach for our journey home, calling at Shackletons Home and Garden Centre en-route. We aim to arrive in the Macclesfield area around tea time.
