The cruise heads for Norway from Liverpool via Scotland’s picturesque Shetland Islands. Stopping at Lerwick to wet your appetite for the holiday to come. Three unforgettable days of fjordland exploration will then begin in beautiful Bergen. This historic, Hanseatic city has a Funicular Railway, which travels to the top of the magnificent, 320-metre-high Mount Fløyen, one of Norway’s most famous attractions. From Bergen you will sail to Olden, situated deep within Nordfjord, tucked away between rolling valleys and lush-green meadows, and is your gateway to a plethora of spellbinding natural wonders and exciting excursions including the spectacular Briksdal Glacier. Next you will travel to Flåm via the Nordfjord, and cruising by the imposing Hornelen, Europe’s highest sea cliff. Some of the fjordland’s most memorable experiences await you in Flåm; why not take a trip on the iconic Flåmsbana railway, as it winds its way through soaring mountains and impressive waterfalls. Finally, back on board Black Watch, you will experience an unforgettable scenic cruise of Nærøyfjord, one of National Geographic’s top two Natural World Heritage Sites.
The Black Watch is a sleek and intimate ship offering a warm welcome the moment you step aboard. We depart Macclesfield mid-morning for the short journey to Liverpool where we board the Black Watch for our Norwegian adventure.
