Our Right Royal Visit this year takes us to historic Windsor where you will have the opportunity to visit both Windsor Castle and Her Majesty’s London residence, Buckingham Palace. We will explore the Queen’s Gallery with it’s outstanding works of art, as well as the Royal Mews who are responsible for all road travel undertaken by the Royal Family, whether by car or carriage. We complete our tour with a visit to the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace; forming the heart of the working palace they are lavishly furnished with some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection.

Our base for the weekend is the 4* Bull Hotel situated in the charming town of Gerrards Cross. The hotel has recently undergone a refurbishment programme and now offers a modern bar, pleasant lounge area and super restaurant. All bedrooms are en-suite with modern facilities including TV, courtesy tea tray, and telephone. The hotel also has a lift.

We depart Macclesfield in the morning calling for coffee en-route to Windsor. We spend the remainder of the day in Windsor giving you the opportunity to visit Windsor Castle, one of official residences’ of The Queen and the largest occupied castle in the world. A royal home and fortress for over 900 years, the Castle remains a working palace today. Alternatively, why not take a browse around the shops, a stroll around Eton or a trip on the river. Late afternoon we take the short journey to Gerrards Cross and our hotel for the evening.

After breakfast we venture into London where we start our Royal visits beginning with the Queen’s Gallery, we then venture to the Royal Mews followed by the fabulous State Rooms at Buckingham Palace. During the visit there is time to discover the West Terrace’s Garden Cafe, which boasts views over the famous lawn, and the Royal Collection shop with its range of exclusive merchandise.
