Scotland – The Inner Hebrides – Islay – Mull & Iona
Staying at The Loch Fyne Hotel & The Isle of Mull hotel and Spa
6 DAYS | 2nd May 2018
A new and exciting island-hopping holiday. One of this year’s Scottish adventures brings together three beautiful but intriguingly different islands. The first, the Isle of Islay, is also known as the Queen of the Hebrides, with eight working whisky distilleries, stunning scenery and amazing wildlife. We also visit the Isle of Mull, a place to explore or to pause for thought and finally to the tiny island of Iona, of typically Hebridean beauty, it holds a unique place in the story of Scotland and ignites the imagination of thousands who journey there each year.
We spend the first three nights at The Loch Fyne Hotel situated on the shores of Loch Fyne in Inveraray. The hotel enjoys wonderful views across the Loch to the Cowal Hills and boasts a lovely lounge bar. There is also the Clansman restaurant serving locally grown produce and leisure facilities including an indoor pool. We spend the last two nights at The Isle of Mull hotel and Spa, situated on the crescent of Craignure Bay, with stunning views over to Morvern and the west coast. This hotel also has leisure facilities, a pleasant bar and restaurant and the Observatory lounge overlooking the gardens and shoreline beyond. Rooms at both hotels have en-suite facilities, TV and tea tray. Both hotels also have lifts.
