Cambridge & the Thriplow Daffodil Festival

Staying at The Marriott Hotel

2 DAYS | 18th March 2018

Our early springtime short break takes us to Thriplow, a quiet village situated eight miles south of Cambridge for the Daffodil Weekend. This fundraising event run entirely by volunteers celebrates 50 years in 2018. During the weekend the village is car free enabling everyone to look at the daffodil displays, the open gardens, potter around the stalls and partake of homemade cakes and sandwiches in the tea rooms at leisure. We also visit the fabulous city of Cambridge where we have time to explore the delights the city has to offer including all the amazing buildings and fabulous shops.

Our base for the tour is the Marriott Hotel, a modern hotel situated on the outskirts of Huntingdon. The hotel offers a large indoor swimming pool and gym, a lounge bar and an elegant restaurant for dining. All bedrooms have full en-suite facilities with complimentary toiletries, TV, and courtesy tea tray.
