Guided Tour of Port Sunlight

Join us as we head to the famous Port Sunlight. Beginning with morning coffee we then meet our guide for a coach tour around this fascinating village. Afterwards you will have free time for lunch and to wander at leisure around the village. Southwell & The Workhouse

Having called for coffee en-route we head to the picturesque little town of Southwell. Bursting with tradition and character Southwell is often referred to as ‘the jewel in Nottinghamshire’s crown’. Wander through the magnificent Southwell Minster with its unique pepperpot spires, then stroll along to the town’s centre to find a good selection of independent shops, friendly pubs, cosy cafés, and restaurants. After lunch there is the option of visiting the Victorian Workhouse and to hear the stories of those who lived and worked here in the 1840’s. Chester with an Afternoon Cruise on the River Dee

Enjoy a morning to explore the wonderful centre of Chester, then mid-afternoon join us as we board one of the Chester boats for a cruise on the beautiful River Dee, right by the heart of the city. Stream in the Sky & Llangollen

Today our excursion takes us to the little Welsh town of Llangollen. With free time for lunch and a wander, we then board a narrowboat for a two hour relaxing trip on the Llangollen Canal. Join us and experience one of the most spectacular and scenic canals in Britain; known as the ‘stream in the sky’, it travels over Thomas Telford’s famous Pontcysyllte aqueduct, 126 feet above the floor of the River Dee Valley.
