Lytham St. Annes & Lytham Hall

Why not join us for a summertime day out. Why not spend the day in Lytham St Annes with time for lunch and a stroll along the seafront, through the park and along the pier. Or alternatively join us after lunch when we take the short journey to Lytham Hall, for an afternoon visit. Lytham Hall is the finest Georgian house in Lancashire set in 80 acres of parkland. You have time to explore the house, parkland, garden and tea rooms before we head back to Lytham to collect the remaining passengers and then head for home. Tuesday 8th

Welsh Highland Railway

We call for coffee en-route to Caernarfon. Free time in Caernarfon with time for lunch before taking the scenic route up to Beddgelert for our journey on the Welsh Highland Railway taking us back down through Snowdonia to Caernarfon where we have time for refreshments before our journey home. Saturday 12th

Steaming Through Wales *NEW DATE*

Today we make our way to St Asaph Tweedmill for a little retail therapy and lunch in the cafe. We then travel over the picturesque Horseshoe Pass to Llangollen, to board the steam train, where we are in for a wonderful journey alongside the stunning River Dee, the scenery is some of the best in the country and should be particularly fantastic at this time of year. The tour now includes a return journey with a short stop at Carrog the end of the line before returning to Llangollen where the coach will meet you for the journey home (Inc. return train ride)

Friday 18th

Saltaire & The David Hockney Gallery

We head straight to Saltaire and begin our day with a visit to Victoria Hall where we have organised tea and coffee. We are greeted by a local Guide who will give you an insight into the towns Historic past and tell you all about Sir Titus Salt. After the talk you will have free time to take a stroll around the town and visit the Salts Mill. The mansion-like mill today houses Europe’s largest collection of work by the famous artist David Hockney. (Inc. tea/coffee and talk)

Saturday 26th

Skipton for the day or Boundary Mill

Firstly we call at Boundary Mill for all those fantastic bargains, why not start your Christmas shopping early? You have the option to stay all day at Boundary Mill or ALTERNATIVELY after morning coffee rejoin the coach and continue on to Skipton for lunch and a browse around the market. The coach will then return to Boundary Mill giving the Skipton passengers an hour for afternoon tea before we continue home.

Monday 28th

Shrewsbury With a Boat Trip on the River Severn

We spend the day in the beautiful town of Shrewsbury with its timber-framed black and white buildings, steep narrow streets and alleyways. Home to over 600 listed buildings there is much to choose from, why not visit the castle, now a regimental museum, or the world famous Shrewsbury Abbey, home of the fictional Brother Cadfael. There will be time to browse at your leisure before our relaxing afternoon cruise on the River Severn. On board the Sabrina we will enjoy an informative and entertaining 45 minute cruise with tea or coffee. (Inc. cruise with tea or coffee)
