Portmeirion with Lunch at Castle Deudreth

Our scenic run takes us through the lovely Welsh countryside, calling for coffee en route to Portmeirion. Its architect, Sir Clough Williams-Ellis, was an ardent environmentalist in the 1930s who wanted to create a functional and attractive private village that would act as ‘propaganda for good manners’. Arriving in time for lunch at Castle Deudreth, the afternoon is yours to spend at leisure in this famous village. (Inc. two course lunch and entrance).

Having called for coffee en route you will have the remainder of the day to discover all the quirks of this intriguingly ‘unstately’ home. (NT members free, non-members £15.00 approx.).
